Punta Arenas is the southernmost city in Chile with a population of about 120,000 inhabitants. Due to its location, on the Magellan Strait, it was the main maritime port before the opening of the Panamá Canal in 1914. Out door Museum , Monuments & Fort Bulnes

The tour begins with a visit to Fort Bulnes that is located 40 miles south from Punta Arenas driving over mostly paved roads, skirting the Strait of Magellan. The fort was the first stablishment in Patagonia, in 1843. The Magellan Forest Reserve & Parque del Ñandu
Duration: Approximately 6 hrs.
The Reserve is located 15 minutes driving away from downtown.
This beautiful protected area has great hiking and biking trails among untouched forest of beech tree, with a spectacular view of the Strait of Magellan and the famous island of Tierra del Fuego. There's a special view point accessible for wheel chair and information in Braille for blind visitors.

City Tour & Penguin Reserve
Duration: Approximately 6 hrs.
Enjoy a sightseeing tour in Punta Arenas by visiting the museums and the highlights as the viewpoint and the main square. After the city tour we'll head northwest, 40 miles from Punta Arenas, over mostly unpaved roads, across huge typical sheep farms in order to visit the Penguin Reserve. To reach the nest and beach where the penguins live, you need to walk approximately ¾ mile each way.
