ABOUT US

Akita is the first Patagonian travel agency incorporating and developing tours specialized for persons with physical disabilities, the slow walkers, and for the elderly. We organize tours according to the customer’s needs and their preferences.

The idea of creating this agency began with the initiative to improve tourist services in the region, by incorporating in our tours this segment and give them the possibility to visit this beautiful and remote area.

We provide a wheelchair accessible travel planning which is a good alternative for wheelchair travelers, their families and their friends who want to travel on their adventure at their own pace.
We have designed tours for deaf travelers with the help of an interpreter of the ASL and the Chilean sign language, and also we are providing tours for blind or visually impaired travelers, by giving them the opportunity to discover Patagonia, its flora, part of its fauna and its amazing history.
